Event Session - Little Lunch Online #3

Welcome! We’d love your feedback!!

The Arts Front Platform is in live beta testing in 2020. The development team are working on it right now. The full Arts Front system will be launched in November. Please take a look around and feel free to try things out. Features will continue to change and develop but any content you create (profiles, events, groups, actions, reports) can stay in the system.

Your content always belongs to you in Arts Front. You can delete your profile and content at any time.

If you have a question or you see something that’s broken or you have ideas for new features or improvements we would love to hear from you.

  • What will be the main focus of the response package? (i.e. to relieve out of pocket expenses on projects that have since been cancelled or postponed? To be able to keep paying staff and artists? For organisations to be able to keep operating eg. utilities?). Where will the priorities lie
Guest Guest Thu 26th Mar, 11:25am
  • I am an independent musician. I lost all my local as well as overseas gigs. will defy be losing all future multicultural festival concerts, all council related, have already lost two concerts for spiritual organisations in the coming months. Is ACA providing any special grants/funding arrangements for individual practitioners like me.

  • I would ask them about available support for regional Queensland orgs and artists- noting
QLD receives already receives less OzCo support than other states

I understand they are freezed grant rounds currently open and pooling available funds into a
new responsive grant program - that could be of most relevance/benefit.

Equally I'm concerned about the consequences of suspending project and touring funding rounds and the effect that will have on organisations and artists moving forward.

  • With the June Playing Australia round now suspended, do you know when a new date will be announced for the next Playing Australia round?
Guest Guest Thu 26th Mar, 10:40am
  • Australia Council suspended grant rounds for Independent artists: how does an independent artist apply for a grant to continue making new work if they have been suspended? what will the new grants look like?
