What are the trends and challenges of presenting events in 2021. What do events and celebrations look like in a post pandemic world?

Panelists include:

Melinda Collie-Holmes – Creative Producer for Brisbane Festival, 2021, Industry Manager of Gold Coast Film Festival, Creative Producer for the Festival of Outback Opera for Opera Queensland, one of the Creative Producers Festival 2018 – Commonwealth Games, Executive Producer for Bleach* The Gold Coast Festival 2018-19, 

Cathy Hunt – Executive Producer Wow Australia , Executive Director Of One Mind , Director of Positive Solutions Cathy Hunt has held board positions for a number of organisations, including Events Queensland, the Asia Pacific Screen Awards and Metro Arts, and is the former Chair of the Bluecoat Art Centre Liverpool, UK. 

Kerry Saul – is the General Manager of the Empire Theatre Toowoomba. He is the current treasurer for Stage Queensland. He has worked in or toured to most of the Stage Queensland venues. In 1987 he opened Mackay Entertainment Centre as Technical Manager and in 1997 moved to Toowoomba to open The Empire Theatre in the same role. Kerry has been General Manager of Empire Theatres since 2011.

Scott McDuff – Regional Events Scenic Rim Regional Council – Managing significant regional events such as Eat Local Week, Winter Harvest Festival, Farm 2 Plate Exchange.

This session will be delivered live in-venue and live streamed.

Participants for the live in venue event are encouraged to arrive at 6 pm for a 6:30 pm start. The in venue event runs until 9 pm.

The live streamed event will run 6:30–7:30 pm.
