I am an environmental scientist working on questions related to ecology, conservation and society. I am most interested in: i) how concern for Animals informs environmental values and practice, ii) more critical approaches to how the sciences consider Animals, and iii) the use of XR technologies for connecting people with nature and animals. A simple provocation drives my research: how would research, the environment and society change if we meaningfully considered the moral claims of other Animals? I want to leveraged research to help created a better future for Animals, the environment, and humans.
