Bree Alexander (tweeting @LaBree_A) writes in Melbourne across multiple forms, from current affairs through to poetry. Her creative interests include collaborations, writing the body and explorations of intercultural experience and languages, having lived in Spain and northern India. Her writings and recordings have appeared recently with Eureka Street, Westerly Magazine and Australian Multilingual Writing Project. Her text ‘Learning spontaneity’ was selected for Microflix 2020 and her poem 'I am for us' was highly commended in the inaugural Australia reMADE competition (2019). She facilitated collaborative translation workshops with TransCollaborate in 2019. Under pseudonym Lika Posamari, she was shortlisted for the Overland Fair Australia Prize 2018 and her chapbook of poetry, 'The eye as it inhales onions' (in case of emergency press) came into being in 2018.
