Dean Walsh is an award-winning choreographer, performer, educator, writer, movement researcher and avid SCUBA and breath-held diver, who identifies as living with disability - autism, ADHD & complex trauma conditions. He's made over 40 original performance works & worked with renowned Australian & overseas companies. He's a passionate advocate for marine environmentalism (through embodied / extended cognition approaches) and respected disability arts access advocate. He celebrates 30 years of practice in 2021. Since 2007 Dean has formulated an "embodied environmentalism" methodology and movement taxonomy called, PrimeOrderly, from which he draws much of his knowledge for exploring "embodied environmental empathy".
