I’m an English, Literature and History teacher at Geelong Grammar School. I taught Alexis Wright’s Carpentaria to my Year 12 Literature class and we were lucky enough to hear from Alexis herself at my previous school, Williamstown. I have a 22 month baby daughter and am married to my college sweetheart. I also run Literature Club at GGS.
This is a national reading project designed to support teachers and members of the public worldwide in engaging with award-winning Indigenous Australian writing and exploring the relationship between climate and racial justice in Indigenous-authored texts.
