Expression of Interest for the Festivals Commissioning and Presentation Fund 2025

This form is for artists/producers and New Zealand arts organisations seeking funding for development and presentation of a new or reimagined work as part of the Festivals Commissioning and Presentation Fund.

Successful applicants selected from EoI submissions will receive seed funding to develop their work/idea. (Phase One)

Following Phase One, all seed-funded work will be considered for funding as part of Phase Two: commissioning and presentation.

Before completing the form below please be sure to read the full Guidelines for Application. You will also need to have the following information ready to upload:

Budget of how you will use the seed funding (see guidelines for parameters)
Profiles of core creative team involved in the project
A description of how you plan to develop the work with the seed funding

Eligibility Confirmation (*)

I confirm that:

The artists for this work are NZ citizens or permanent residents living in New Zealand, and if applying on behalf of an arts organisation - it is an NZ organisation with the principal place of business based in NZ.

The work is new or reimagined.

The work may otherwise not be possible without the support of this fund.

The work requires a level of funding not otherwise possible through existing Creative New Zealand funding schemes.*

The work has the ability to tour into a range of festivals throughout Aotearoa.

The work will be led by a team of established creatives with previous experience in developing, producing and presenting new work, and touring.

* Applicants can have received some prior support from Creative New Zealand towards development funding, if development happened prior to applying to Phase One (Seed Funding).
