Event :: Little Lunch Online (LLOL)

Welcome! We’d love your feedback!!

The Arts Front Platform is in live beta testing in 2020. The development team are working on it right now. The full Arts Front system will be launched in November. Please take a look around and feel free to try things out. Features will continue to change and develop but any content you create (profiles, events, groups, actions, reports) can stay in the system.

Your content always belongs to you in Arts Front. You can delete your profile and content at any time.

If you have a question or you see something that’s broken or you have ideas for new features or improvements we would love to hear from you.

Tune in for Little Lunch #8 on Friday April 3 at 12.00 midday AEDT
for a special Australia Council update with Frank Panucci

Little Lunch Online (LLOL) is a chance to check in and connect with each other while we grab a quick bite of lunch, or a morning coffee for folk in the West. It's a quick 30 minute window to share ideas and resources, and plan our actions in responding to the pandemic, the climate crisis and whatever global emergency awaits us next.

Our dystopian future may have arrived a little early but social distancing won't stop us from staying connected, sharing resources and doing even more amazing work.

First Peoples First

The first week of Little Lunches featured some great First Nations artists with the wonderful Lyndon Davis from Gubbi Gubbi Dance kicking things off for us on Tuesday and the amazing Katina Olsen on Wednesday and  Merindah Donnelly from Blakdance in conversation with independent dance and performance artist Josh Pether at Friday's LLOL #4.

Host a Little Lunch (or two!)

Artists and organisations across the country will have the opportunity to take a turn at hosting some Little Lunches. Hosts will organise guest speakers for their lunches and get a chance to dig a bit deeper into what's going in their community. https://artsfront.com/event/37103-little-lunch-online-llol/forms/37237-llol-eoi-hosts

Little Lunch Artists EOI

Each Little Lunch will also feature great live performances by artists from across the country. It's a way for us to create and promote new ways for artists to present their work online and get paid for it! LLOL is an experimental space to try new things and learn from and with each other. Let's get that NBN humming! https://artsfront.com/event/37103-little-lunch-online-llol/forms/37248-llol-eoi-artists

We hope that Little Lunch Online will help us hang on to our sense of humour and sanity as we navigate the uncharted, COVID-19 infested waters of 2020. Don’t forget to wash your hands before Little Lunch!

Little Lunch Online - how does it work?

There are 3 live participation options for the first Little Lunch:

  • Comments and questions on the Arts Front lunch page (unlimited numbers)

If you can’t make it at lunch time you can catch up later on www.llol.com

Zoom - you can connect via Zoom on your laptop, ipad or the Zoom mobile app. We invite everyone who joins via Zoom to use the chat to type in a quick message to ‘check in,’ say hi and let everyone know the First Nations country you are on for today’s lunch. If you would like to make a video comment or question on Zoom during the lunch please start it using the word QUESTION or COMMENT or IDEA (etc) in CAPITALS so we can find you. In the half hour format there might not be time for everyone to talk but questions can also be picked up in future lunches.

If using Zoom please keep your mic on mute when you aren’t speaking.

The Little Lunches are being delivered through Feral Arts’ Arts Front Platform. You don’t have to be an Arts Front member to participate. Arts Front members can login and register to be part of the Lunches. If you aren’t currently a member feel welcome to register and an Arts Front Profile will be created for you.

Arts Front is providing live captioning and signing to improve the accessibility of the Little Lunches. Please call or email us for details. Email Arts Front

Little Lunches Online is an initiative of Feral Arts as part the Arts Front Project.

Everyone was loud & clear from Castlemaine, Victoria. We survive on a 4K wireless USB modem as we have no NBN or landline connection in the office.  That said it was a clear and sunny day here :)
