I am Alex full time creative living in Toowoomba, SE QLD. I live and breathe the arts in all elements of my life. Raising two creative children, being the founding director and lead artist at Toowoomba creative studio Tinker, creating original products and being an artist myself. 

My artwork explores my personal journey through representational self-portraits. I am not a prolific artist in my practice and only create pieces as a key moment in my narrative emerges. 

Public art both static and immersive brings together my love of celebrating happiness. I seek to explore the role of places on individual and community and how transforming these spaces through art changes that way that which we as a community move through them. Art is a powerful tool to bring together people from all demographics to create, explore and collaborate. 

Sharing my creative side through craft and creation fills my cup. I am constantly developing new products that encourage creativity, embrace our need to individualism and celebrating the joy that objects can bring us.
