Carol Gigliotti is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Media Arts at Emily Carr University of Arts and Design, and founding member of Vegan Congress. She is the editor of Leonardo’s Choice: Genetic Technologies and Animals. Her writing is supported by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and she was the recipient of the John and Betty Gray Writing Residency, The Sitka Center for the Arts, Oregon, and the Coppermosss Writing Residency, Tuwanek, BC. Her book, The Creative Lives of Animals, published by NYU Press will be out next year.
