I’m a proud Kamilaroi woman and passionate creative, born and raised on the Sunshine Coast. I’m currently working across a broad range of projects and programming with inspiring organisations and arts leaders such as Digi Youth Arts, BlakDance and Supercell Dance Festival, most often in a producing capacity. I truly believe connecting with Indigenous culture, particularly through the arts whether it be a performance, workshop or conversation, can have tremendous and momentous impacts on artists and audiences alike. I aspire to continue working alongside such pivotal industry pioneers and practitioners and aggregating for more opportunities to connect Indigenous artists and audiences, ultimately developing the place of Indigenous arts in Australia and contributing to the rich, diverse arts sector I know Australia is capable of. Arts Front U30 would be a crucial opportunity to share this particular vision of the Australian arts sector with other young people, and discover ways we can achieve our shared vision of the future together.
