Emma Maguire is a Lecturer in Writing at James Cook University. Her research has been published in high-ranking journals and cited by key scholars in media and auto/biography studies. Her book Girls, Autobiography, Media (2018) is published by Palgrave Macmillan. She is currently working on a research project about women's narratives of youth sexual trauma after #MeToo.
