At 16 years old, I've been working and volunteering in the public arts sector for the last 4 years. I’m passionate about the arts, particularly the public arts sector, as well as making arts accessible and available to the wider community people residing in metro and regional WA (and Australia)!
Since 2014, I’ve been part of, performed in, worked on, and volunteered at a local festival in Kalbarri called the Zest Fest until its final year in 2016. Since 2017 I have been a member of the Country Arts WA/Drug Aware YCulture Regional Grant Assessors Panel, and have also completed a short amount of in-office work experience with CAWA. I have recently finished with my latest volunteer commitment being the youngest member of the Youth Planning Committee for the 2018 KickstART Festival as part of WA Youth Week (formerly National Youth Week) with Propel Youth Arts WA, which concluded in May this year. This type of work, art, and experience is something that I love with all my heart. I wish to continue this type of work and volunteering while I finish High School, and hopefully pursue this as a career!
I am constantly looking to expand my network of people, knowledge, and inspiration, and I feel like the Arts Front U30 symposium would be the perfect space and opportunity for me to do that.
