Hrishikesh was born in Pune, India in 1983. As part of his growing he always knew his existence is not for a main stream profession. He was a lost soul but always found meaning in music and dance.

He tried his hands on various art forms which took him close to a performing space, but soon after knew that Kathak was the answer, the sound and purity of the classical Indian dance form caught his fancy. He started studying Kathak under the guidance of Mrs.Manisha Abhay and continued for a few years. He further went on to study with the legendry Guru Rohini Bhate, Guru Sharadhini Gole for a few months and is presently studying under the guidance of Guru Neelima Adhye.
