Iris has recently completed PhD research engaging with the intersection of sustainability and animal protection in the School of Geosciences, University of Sydney. Her research advances a notion of interspecies sustainability which she applied to the thoroughbred racing industry to interrogate their practices. Iris currently works as independent scholar.
