
Isaac Coen Lindsay BIO
Isaac Coen Lindsay comes from the Riverland, Berri South Australia and is part of
the Ngarrindjeri Tribe.
His first interaction with film was in 2013 when he attended a workshop in Port
Augusta ABC radio, ran by ABC OPEN. There he made his first short, "PostCard
From the Edge". In 2015, he was part of SAFC "micro docs" initiative where he was
exposed to the great experiences and knowledge of the filming world.
In 2016 secured an attachment in the electrics department on a feature film, Sweet
Country Directed by Warwick Thornton. He was also an attachment for
Cinematographer Allan Collins, on the short documentary, Coming Home and then
went on to be an assistant to Collins on the short film, Acknowledgement of
Country, shot in Whyalla.
In-between, Isaac has done photography and filming for Working on Country, NRM,
Country Arts SA projects and community.
Konya is Isaac's first short film he has written and directed, fully financed by South
Australian Film Corporation. In 2018, it was an official selection at the Adelaide Film
Festival.
In 2019, Isaac was a videographer for two NITV our stories; KING KOOMIE and
50,000 YEAR OLD SILK ROAD and directing his first ABC short documentary
ELECTRIC MIMILI for ABC Iview.
