Whalers Wife 3
Have been working the arts industry for over 20 years as a small business owner of Happs Pottery and Icon Honey, as a volunteer initiating and coordinating arts projects and events in Dunsborough and as the Cultural Development Officer at the City of Busselton for nearly 9 years. Many of my favourite projects have been as a volunteer with street art and the Dunsborough Arts Festival - and the passion was about bringing cultural activities to Dunsborough so my children could experience drama and theatre, music and arts. Currently the chair of the Dunsborough Progress Association and in the board of the Margaret River Open Studios. I'm privileged to be a patron of the Voices of the Vasse choir in Busselton. As part of my work at the City, implementing the Reconciliation Action Plan, Percent for Art projects, Ballaarat 150th anniversary celebration, multicultural groups, place activation groups and projects and the many cultural, arts and heritage groups. And helping in the pottery studio in a very limited hands on capacity!

With the commitment by the new federal government to renew and reinstate the Creative Australia National cultural policy by the end of 2022, there is a perfect opportunity to complete the Arts Front 2030 work, and promote the ideas and visions for the future that people have contributed over the last five years.
