Jane Turner Goldsmith’s first novel, Poinciana was shortlisted for a Commonwealth Prize in 2007. She has also published a junior novel, an edited nonfiction anthology of adoption stories and an online collection of short stories. ‘Smoke Road’ was published in Overland 2021 and ‘Shiny Shoes’ was placed equal second in the 2021 Boroondara Literary Awards. She has published flash fiction and articles online and her creative nonfiction piece ‘Edeowie’ was published in the inaugural Saltbush Review. She is currently undertaking a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide after a career in psychology, most recently in employee assistance counselling.
