Jennifer Campbell is passionate about inspiring students to realise their potential, encourage researchers to be more engaging communicators and improving equity and diversity in research. Jen is an environmental engineer, science communicator and PhD researcher at Griffith University – currently working towards creating more effective strategies and initiatives to support and increase the success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander scientists, engineers and researchers. As part of the these initiatives, Jen founded the Kungullanji Indigenous Summer Research Program in 2014 which has supported the more than 100 undergraduate research placements. Jen is also always excited to yarn about her hobbies outside of academia which involve knitting, weaving and Lego building!
