I'm Jenny Sun, a 25-year-old writer and (soon-to-be) director. As someone who is Chinese-Australian and has lived abroad, I care deeply about creating connections across cultures and sharing unique stories. My main passions in life, or rather obsessions, are film, TV, books, hiking and salsa dancing.
Moving from Sydney to study a Master of Arts and Cultural Management at the University of Melbourne, over the last year I've been volunteering and interning with several arts festivals and cultural organisations, including MIFF, HRAFF and Asialink Business. While my undergraduate studies were in English and Politics, I also have professional experience in communications, editing, research and uber driving.
Currently I'm developing the scripts I've written, one of which is a comedy web-series called "How to Cook Brussel Sprouts". With an Asian-Australian lead, it explores the millennial tendency to rely on internet searches to solve life problems.
