Jia-Wei is a movement artist & educator based in the Blue Mountains. She has showcased her choreography and visual art in Japan, New York and Australia. Inspired by the ideas of Rudolf Laban and Anna Halprin, she believes that human movement is universal - everybody has the capacity to express and thrive through it.
Jia-wei began her movement training while studying anthropology. After attaining advanced vocational certification in ballet (Royal Academy of Dance), she trained at the renowned Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance in New York (2015-17) and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Dance in London (2019).

Join us for a day of events led by Australian teaching artists and community members to celebrate 20 years of Dance for PD®. Plus check out the other great offerings around the world and around the clock. 

Australian events hosted by Dance for Parkinson's Australia will run from 10:30am AEST - 6pm AEST.
