Karen McKnight is a Melbourne-based writer/performer and social justice advocate whose writing has been published in a range of journals including Vandal Press, Modern Writing and The Big Issue. In 2016 she was awarded the Inaugural Writer in Residence at Overland Literary Journal and in 2019 won the Grace Marion Wilson Prize for non-fiction. She is currently Writer in Residence at Windana Drug & Alcohol Recovery and grateful recipient of the AAWP URWF SS Prize 2022.
