I live and work in South Australia, leading a small to medium arts organisation that focuses on culturally and linguistically diverse arts practice. I believe the arts should be inclusive of all: no one should be prohibited or deterred from making and participating in arts and cultural practice.
Arts Front 2030 will provide the space to dream and imagine how we want our cultural sector to look in 2030, without the baggage of the past 18 months and the fears for the next three years. We need this now, right now! We need to take control of our futures and stop being at the whim of changing governments and fluid budgets. I cannot wait for three days of future thinking and the next 13 years to realise our visions. I was born, live and work on Kaurna country.
