I am a young and passionate emerging artist and art enthusiast, currently studying a Bachelor of Contemporary arts at ECU in Perth. I plan for my career to be in Tattoo while i still personally explore different mediums and expressions of Art. I am currently working on an acrylic paint series called, 'Sad boys & Cigarettes', exploring lonliness and youth in our contemporary age. I like to mix media and am also working on an embrodided film photograph series. I am very interested in being a part of the AFU30 because it is an opportunity that would open up the industry to me, answer questions i wasn't aware of and meet lots of similar and influential people. I am keen to grasp an idea of where Art in Australia is at and how i can be apart of it as well as influence its growth for the future. I am especially interested in the growth of art in regional communities, coming from one myself and also arts for metal health in regional communities.
With the commitment by the new federal government to renew and reinstate the Creative Australia National cultural policy by the end of 2022, there is a perfect opportunity to complete the Arts Front 2030 work, and promote the ideas and visions for the future that people have contributed over the last five years.
