I’m a nineteen year old Mizrahi-Ashkenazi Jewish artist & design student. My work mostly explores the uncovering of family history & cultural memory that has been lost through genocide, forced expulsions, and language barriers. I had an exhibition at Kudos Gallery early this year with Naomi Segal where we explored our own family narratives as migrant children — Naomi’s Chinese background and my Romanian-Iraqi Jewish background. My design majors at uni are Jewellery Design and Interactive Media. 

I’ve been super burnt out lately and feeling unmotivated about making work. The Arts Front symposium has got me excited in a way I haven’t felt in a while, I’m looking forward to it! I’ve also been wanting to develop my writing skills, but I have no clue where to start.

I’m trans and I go by he/him pronouns exclusively!
