Naomi Marsh is the Collection and Exhibition Officer at Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery (TRAG). She has a background in collection management, having worked on projects involving researching and cataloguing museum collections for digitisation, as well as assisting with a disaster recovery project for Toowoomba’s Local History Library following damage from the 2011 flood. Through her current role, Naomi has assisted with the development, curation and installation of numerous exhibitions, along with the development and streamlining of policies and procedures for collection management at TRAG. In 2019 Naomi was selected to participate in the Open Palace Program, which involved professional visits to palaces, museums, archives and heritage sites across the UK to engage directly with experts. The program offered a unique perspective on GLAM and heritage specialisations and practices including conservation, collections management, interpretation, education and visitor experience.
