Natty

Natalie Scholtz is a Perth based artist with over 10 years experience as a drawer, painter and creative professional in community development and the arts. Natalie has exhibited in Australia, New Zealand, Morocco and London and has completed Artist in Residence in the Blue Mountains NSW, Italy and Morocco.

Her works are not realistic portrayals, but instead are physical acts of communicating conversation with self, society and celebrating identity. Natalie paints from her home studio in Beaconsfield and draws upon mixed medium on board, paper and canvas to depict gesture, emotion, light and line. Through the exploration of figurative, portrait and still life she slightly distorts languid lines to create bold representations of the imagined, remembered and the common place.

Natalie currently facilitates art workshops with As We Are and DADAA for artists with disability, and has previously worked with clients from the Ability Centre.

Join us for a day-long immersive experience with artists and changemakers demonstrating how arts and creativity is transforming lives and building stronger, more connected communities.
