After a 16 year battle Salty was diagnosed with Advanced Early Onset Parkinson's Disease at the ripe old age of 31.

This has not stopped them, not one bit.

While living with undiagnosed Parkinson's they traveled the world, living in exotic places. She saw Tom Waits in Prague two nights in a row.

Salty graduated with a Double Degree in Science (Food Technology) and Business (Management), had a successful career in the Beer industry. Salty is an International Beer Judge.

Salty played and was one of the founding female organisers of the  Renegade Pub Footy League in Naarm (Melbourne).

After not being able to continue in Brewing (Beer) as a result of undiagnosed Parkinson's Salty found herself at a cross roads and promptly fell into the live music industry. As a classically trained musician and a regular gig pig, this made her very happy.

In January 2020 Salty had DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) as her last treatment option. Then she watched the industry she loved fall apart.

Salty has recently relocated to Meanjin (Brisvegas) and is working at 4zzz radio as a Volunteer Coordinator.

Salty is also the Australian Coordinator for the World Parkinson's Games.

You can find her getting her dopamine hit at gigs, often with a beer in hand.

Salty lives by the fact that Parkinson's does not define her but, it does make her very good at making cocktails.

If you're lucky, she might tell you a joke.
