I am an artist. Through my art, I aim to express a fascination with the phenomenal aspects of our world through discovery.  To discover the phenomenal, I research and investigate sciences, such as Astronomy to locate the hidden aspects of their work, which I reinterpret to intrigue the viewer.  I mainly express my thoughts, feelings and concepts through sculpture, installation, video and print.  I have completed residencies with the University of Southern Queensland’s Astronomy/Physics Department;  Geidai-Tokyo University of Art & Music, Ueno, Tokyo, Japan.  A QCA Griffith University collaborative project;  + more.  Please see my web blog site  http//www.vanessastanley.blogspot.com.au
