Tena koutou katoa. Hi, Im willi and Im silli. I live in Kaikohe, at the homestead, on my mothers side of the family.  Ive been a sales rep door to door, picked fruit, driven things with wheels, washed toilets in japan..preferred teaching english. Been a guide, a solider, performer, poor student, pretend farmer, lived in Sweden, travelled to Spain, Italy, Thailand, Poland, Aussie, Solomon Islands, Raro..& NZ.

And now, I find myself teaching youth drama and on a committee for our Kerikeri Theatre Co. while picking up roles to continue showing off on stages. Loving the vib and creative juices..thinking maybe I should give Directing a decent go, and fill the void here in Northland ..surounded by amazing talent. Have joined Sam Scott in Massive Theatre-Auckland, who has accepted me into her Directors lab 2021!  Totally awesome..yet freaking out.  I'll do my best!  Starting from the bottom, asking the questions..looking for the answers. Future is real! xyz

Whānau

Most of my close family are in south island. my mum and her partner near by though. Always supportive. My daughter is 18yr so shes too cool for me. My community theatre Co are the ones who allow me to extend myself and of course the kids parents who put their trust in me.

Something cool

a simple bamboo flute/ recorder maybe.. I needed to make a short tune for a shakepeare character..and boom, I had fun trying and love the result. It appeals to my inner child.. I want to create maybe a few tunes for a story telling session. But Bamboo is so amazing and versatile, plentiful, strong, fast growing, light, eat it, build so many things..ancient, and makes beautiful music!
