Zandra's love for movies began as a child when she would spend time sitting on the floor, reading the back of VHS video tapes and DVDs at Video Ezy. Her love for movies soon turned into a passion for acting.

Her desire to see Pasifika culture represented on screen and stage led her to enrol in the Pacific Institute of Performing Arts (PIPA). The teachers at PIPA encouraged their students to create and share their own stories, which inspired Zandra to produce theatre performances under Polynesian Pages.

Zandra gained valuable experience by working with various organizations such as The Creative Souls Project, The Conch, Pacific Dance New Zealand Festival, The Christchurch Arts Festival, Th’Orchard and Tagata Moana Trust.

Over the past year, she has worked in Christchurch high schools in while raising two charismatic daughters. And is interested in developing a new Pasifika Arts Festival.
