Alana Hunt works with Regional Arts Australia as communications coordinator. She is also an independent artist and writer who lives on Miriwoong country in the town of Kununurra in north-west Australia. Alana holds a deep interest in cultural practices taking shape outside of conventional cultural centres across Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific and her work circulates regularly through exhibitions, publishing platforms, events and forms of social exchange that hold a degree of intimacy even when carried through mass-media.

With the commitment by the new federal government to renew and reinstate the Creative Australia National cultural policy by the end of 2022, there is a perfect opportunity to complete the Arts Front 2030 work, and promote the ideas and visions for the future that people have contributed over the last five years.
