Carl Kuddell is Tallstoreez Productionz Pty Ltd / Change Media's co-founder, creative producer and lead artist. A writer, producer and interdisciplinary artist, Carl has in the last two decades worked across TV, multi-media, community and experimental art, producing several multi-million dollar projects servicing hundreds of communities across Australia, alongside a successful career in broadcast with several TV series and hundreds of short films delivered since 2002.
Carl lives and works on Ngarrindjeri country on
the South Australian Fleurieu Peninsula in an off-grid eco-house, and - with is partner Jen Lyons-Reid - runs
Change Media, a nationally acclaimed, multi-award winning community arts and
cultural development (CACD) initiative. With a team of professional artists, they
have delivered over 500 co-creative workshops with over 10,000 community
participants across Australia.
Carl currently works on "_this breath is not mine to keep", the third year of their investigations of power and privilege in socially engaged arts, which in 2020 will take shape as a multi-arts project looking at stages of grief, climate crisis, supremacy-thinking and solidarity. www.thisbreath.space
