I have had a long career in the arts sector, as a CCD practitioners, senior manager, and on arts boards. As an advocate for cultural diversity I have been involved in policy development at a state and national levels. Currently I am the deputy chair of Diversity Arts Australia and undertaking a PhD which investigates the relationship between art for social change and the empowerment of women through a decolonising framework.

With the commitment by the new federal government to renew and reinstate the Creative Australia National cultural policy by the end of 2022, there is a perfect opportunity to complete the Arts Front 2030 work, and promote the ideas and visions for the future that people have contributed over the last five years.
