Tristan Meecham is an artist, performer and Co-Artistic Director of All The Queens Men.

All The Queens Men (ATQM) collaborate with communities of all shapes, sizes, and identities to produce transformative creative experiences that champion equality, social health, and human connection. Led by Tristan Meecham and Bec Reid, the Company values radical optimism, pride, activism, generosity and respect.

All The Queens Men has become a leading creative voice within the LGBTI+ community nationally and internationally, most specifically for championing the rights of LGBTI+ elders. The Company’s practice enables LGBTI+ communities improved access, not only to arts experiences, but to broader community health and social services

ATQM enables people who experience discrimination and isolation to engage and reconnect with community. ATQM co-designs creative experiences enabling emerging communities improved access, not only to the arts, but broader community and social services. ATQM partner with all tiers of government and cross-sectorial industry partners, working at the intersections of health, ageing, LGBTI+ equality, young people and physical activity.

ATQM champions: 

 1. Equality and unity - no fear, eliminating discrimination. 

 2. Recognition of diversity - an understanding of sexual and gendered politics. 

 3. Respect for elders - valued as a vital cultural community. 

 4. Leadership and representation – creating projects to agitate and advocate for political change, while increasing community capacity and leadership.

With 30+ years of combined experience in community committed arts practice, All The Queens Men has presented leading large-scale community projects locally, nationally and internationally including at Ansan Arts Festival (South Korea), ANTI Contemporary Arts Festival (Finland), Arts Centre Melbourne, Art House (Melbourne), Bleach Festival (Gold Coast), City of Melbourne, Darwin Festival, Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture, National Theatre of Scotland/ Eden Court Theatre / Luminate Festival (UK), Next Wave Festival (Melbourne), Sydney Festival, Taipei Arts Festival (Taiwan) and West Kowloon Cultural Arts District (Hong Kong) amongst many others.

A leadership group supporting the Art Front project.

An online symposium exploring ideas of basic income and the need for an approach to economy that puts creativity and care at its centre. Led by a panel of artists, researchers, economists, scientists and philosophers, the symposium responds to current and ongoing planetary crises, and positions creativity and social ecology as integral to shaping policy and systems of value.

The Symposium is a joint initiative of Arts Front, BLINDSIDE and Next Wave and was supported by the City of Melbourne COVID-19 Arts Grants.
