Los Sures (Williamsburg’s Southside) and Bushwick, Brooklyn: El Puente promotes leadership for peace and justice by engaging community members in the arts for social change, education, wellness, and environmental action. Their Green Light District is a strategic community sustainability initiative to preserve, grow, green, and celebrate Williamsburg’s Southside community. El Puente is interested in research that helps them codify their role as a cultural hub providing deep roots to their community.

Areas of focus might include cultural equity, community self determination, and the role of cultural hubs to catalyze healing post pandemic and to support anti displacement campaigns.
