Monday 6th April, 12:00pm - 12:30pm AEST
The brilliant Bec Mac kicks off the week with performances from three wonderful guest artists in one Little Lunch!
Joining Bec for a whirlwind half hour of performance and discussion will be Brisbane music sweethearts Pauline Maudy and Paddy McHugh, experimental artist, playwright & dramaturge Ian Sinclair and dance and performance artists Alice Weber.
How is everyone coping living in a world that was once full of the effortless transactions of hugs, kisses, touches and physical closeness and now we are in law in-forced social isolation and physical distancing where the touch of one person could mean, literally the death of another.
This little lunch will open up a conversation around how people's intimate relationships, relationships to our bodies and those of others are being affected by the COVID-19 crisis. We will also explore the huge role technology now plays in keeping us connected which has the bonus of freeing us from our present location into a global digital community.
