Floating Land 2019 - Symposium
Our Welcome to Country for the 2019 Floating Land Symposium was pretty unique. Lyndon Davis and Brent Miller were both featured artists and in their role as leaders of Gubbi Gubbi Dance were also set to do the welcome. At the last minute Lyndon and Brent were unable to be at the Symposium in person due to international project commitments in Vanuatu. We worked with Leah Barclay and the team at Arts Front to record a video that was played as the welcome! Then on the day we were delighted to have Helena Gulash with us to add to Lyndon's welcome video. It all worked really well.
