When we first arrived in this clearing it didn’t seem like there was much to see. The flower of this grass trigger plant (Stylidium graminifolium) caught my eye and when I crouched down to photograph it I noticed that the clearing was full of them. What made the flowers even more striking was the dark colour of the plantation of slash pines in the background.
