Over the past 30 years the arts have industrialised in line with a growing focus on market forces. What role has neoliberalism played in our current systems?

Academic Jessica Whyte's book The Morals of the Market draws on detailed archival research on the parallel histories of human rights and neoliberalism. Jessica uncovers the place of human rights in neoliberal attempts to develop a moral framework for a market society.

Görkem and Pippa will add practical experience to contentualise this theory into current arts practices and the challenges we face.
